Basically Teknik 20 is Automotive Supplier. Started as a supplier of the Tofaş, later on has continued with the main automotive OEM’s and suppliers like Ford, Toyotetsu and Iran Khodro. In time, the range of the OEM’s exceeded automotive and included also production for the household appliances and electrical equipment like Arçelik and Schnider.

Production range was shaped as a manufacturer of the sheet metal parts, fine blanking parts and mechanisms. Sheet metal body parts, welded sheet metal parts, fine blanking parts, door locks, strikers, door-checks are producing for the automotive. Valve plates for the household appliance and non-ferrous parts for electrical equipment manufacturers are the main products out of automotive. Finally Teknik 20 is the biggest manufacturer of the agricultural sprayers and atomizers in Turkey. Teknik 20 certificated his Quality level with the ISO TS 16949:2002, and environmental sensitivity and respect with ISO 14001. With the conscious that the success depends on the training; quality, technology, environment and production management trainings are performed continuously. Also the Kaizen teams performs their “continuously improvements”. Teknik 20 is one of the global market players and naturally feels the global competition pressure. To transform the threat of the global competition to the opportunity, Teknik 20 started strategically planning’s of the future. First of all vision, mission and core values was changed. New vision is “Become a world trade mark surviving generation together with its employees, developing technologies and winning each and every battle with its technical strength”. In the center of the vision are the employees. Surviving generation is the willing to be successful, to grow and to survive in competition. Developing technologies is the intention to use R&D in competition; Technical Strength represents the technological background and know-how. Finally, the target of the Teknik20 is to become a world trade mark.

The other important point of the strategically planning is to find the strength side of the company. Teknik 20 is the most experienced and technologically high leveled company in the fine blanking mould and part production field in Turkey and this is the strength point of the company. To expose, to prevalence and to introduce fine blanking to the industry will be the scope of the high competition strength of the company, in fact that up to now this technological side of the company was not introduced enough to the customers.

The other strength side of the company is the know-how for production of the mechanism parts. Automotive door locks, strikers and door-checks are main products which are produce with the license of the Italian Italamec for local and Iranian OEM companies.

Teknik 20 designates his willing to grow by investment plans for 2005. In this plan was included Sheet Metal Presses and the post processing machineries for fine blanking such a grinding, double side grinding and deburing.

To achieve the target to be a World Mark, as indicated in vision, Teknik 20 has completed his reorganization, strategic planning and investment planning.
